A report issued by the United Nations-backed Global Commission on HIV and the Law; recommends that nations around the world get rid of “punitive” laws against prostitution – or what it calls “consensual sex work” -- and decriminalize the voluntary use of illegal injection drugs in order to combat the HIV epidemic....

 The Kussomat
picture picture
Translated from Danish, it's a "Pussymat". It is open for business in Copenhagen today.
The "Kussomat" is a photo booth where you anonymously can take a picture of your pussy, and thereby contribute to a collection of pictures that show that female sex organs look very, very different.

Too many photos of the female sex organs that you find on the net are pornographic. The pornographic pussy is trying to adhere to some particular ideals: It needs to be symmetrical, and have ultra-small labia - and of course it needs to be hairless.

Many women think they look wrong in that region, if they don't live up to the porn ideal. We would like to change that! Therefore we intend to build a collection of photos that show the multitude of pussies. They might be symmetrical, asymmetrical, have large or small labia and clitorises, and of course they can have a variety of hair coverings.

Together with a group of design students we have developed and built a photo booth, specially designed to take pictures of the pussy. The Kussomat is set up as a cozy little room with a chair in the middle. In the chair an opening has been cut out and in the floor we have placed a camera. With a self timer one can take a photo, showing just the pussy. The photos from the Kussomat will be uploaded to this site...
And that site is: Kvinde Kend Din Krop. Not that I can see any pictures. Danish news articles: Politiken, Forum.

 Penis-leash shopping
French police say they have arrested a 63-year-old woman who was leading her 40-year-old companion along a busy shopping street by a leash attached to his exposed penis.

The couple were detained on Wednesday afternoon in the southwestern city of Carcassonne and were due to appear in court in April on charges of public indecency.

The couple admitted to being sex addicts and said they were in the middle of a game when arrested, police said on Thursday.

 Bad Sex
Here's a passage by the winner of the 2010 Bad Sex Awards.
He caught her rhythm, pulling and releasing, cradling and crushing; pushing up through his fingers with each swing, mining up, like an otter through wet sand. Her sounds shifted from moans to grunts, insistent, almost desperate cries from the throat … He unbuttoned the front of her shirt and pulled it to the side so that her breast was uncovered, her nipple poking out, upturned like the nose of the loveliest nocturnal animal, sniffing in the night. He took it between his lips and sucked the salt from her. He hooked his fingers into her waistband, caught the elastic of her underwear and began pulling down. The knot on her light cotton trousers held fast as the fabric reached the curve of her backside. She twisted from him and stepped back.

'I want to suck you,' she said, descending … She loosed his trousers, pulled away his underwear and gripped him with fingers tender enough to hold a tiny bird.

As he felt her mouth's engulfment, he acquiesced, disappointment melting like ice in hot cream...

Prince of Brunei and his sex statues of himself
picture Daily Mail
Prince Prince Jefri Bolkiah, 56, immortalized his bedroom antics with Micha Raines in life-sized bronze sculptures he had commissioned for his Long Island estate Sunninghill...

Jefri has 17 children by seven women. And he has a harem.

His harem was first detailed in 1997 by former Miss USA Shannon Marketic when she sued the prince and the sultan for holding her against her will as a sex slave in Brunei at his 1,788-room place.

Her lawsuit claimed she and other young women were lured to be sex slaves after traveling there under false pretenses. After arriving in Brunei, she said, they had their passports confiscated and were checked for sexually transmitted diseases. The suit was dismissed.

Earlier this year Jillian Lauren, published a memoir 'Some Girls' detailing her 18 months in the harem as one of Jefri's 40 girlfriends, showered with jewelry, designer clothes and bags stuffed with cash.

Jefri, known for his spending habits, was accused of embezzling $14.8billion from the tiny, oil-rich Brunei, a charge he denied. His purchases over the years have included 600 properties, over 2000 cars, over 100 paintings, five boats, nine aircraft including an Airbus, rugs made of gold, and even a mega-yacht he christened 'Tits'...

 Bob Guccione
Bob Guccione, the founder of Penthouse, died at 79 years old. NY Daily News:
The one-time New Jersey resident, whose magazine's explicit nudity served as a dirtier rival to the more high-brow Playboy, was also a painter whose works were featured in museums such as the Nassau County Museum of Art in New York.

Guccione claimed Penthouse earned $4 billion during his reign as publisher, and he was listed in the Forbes 400 ranking of wealthiest people with a net worth of about $400 million in 1982.

The skin magazine brought down a religious icon and a beauty queen during the 1980s. It published nude photos of Miss America Vanessa Williams, which cost her the crown. It also featured sexually explicit tales of televangelist Jimmy Swaggart that toppled his ministry in 1988 and 1989...

No sex on the space station
picture Apparently, the NASA commanders don't allow sexual intercourse on the ISS. Telegraph:
"We are a group of professionals," said Alan Poindexter, a NASA commander, during a visit to Tokyo, when asked about the consequences if astronauts boldly went where no others have been.

"We treat each other with respect and we have a great working relationship. Personal relationships are not ... an issue," said a serious-faced Mr Poindexter. "We don't have them and we won't."

There's too little porn in those iPad posters
If you’ve been to San Francisco in the past few months, you’ll know that the entire city is plastered with iPad advertisements. The situation is even more out of control now that it’s WWDC week and thousands of Apple developers are in from out of town. So one rogue group of artists decided to have a little fun.

The group Freedom From Porn has been going all around the city and altering the iPad ads to add a little porn to them. To be clear, these aren’t really explicit additions, instead, they’re more subversive. For example, see the Steve Jobs’ Facebook page below...

An Australian documentary filmmaker has been forced to move his latest project from Australia to Nevada for fear of prosecution. Justin Sisley is putting together a reality show that will culminate in a virginity auction. Each participant will be paid $20,000 plus 90 percent of the final bidding price. However, Sisley's original plan to hold the auction in Sydney was scrapped after receiving a letter of warning from the government of the Australian state of Victoria, threatening to prosecute him for prostitution should he proceed.  Roxxxy the Robot
The description for AEE's Saturday morning main stage offering was simple, yet compelling: Sex Robot Unveiling. Yes, on the third day of the show, we were invited to watch history in the making, and meet Roxxxy TrueCompanion.

Granted, we'd already seen her sitting on the couch in the TrueCompanion booth—we'd even talked to her creator and learned a bit about her ins and outs (so to speak). But Saturday was the day we got to see her switched on, and actually get a glimpse at what this robot could do...

 Belle de Jour revealed
picture The Guardian
One of the best kept literary secrets of the decade was revealed last night when 34-year-old scientist Dr Brooke Magnanti announced she was the writer masquerading as call girl Belle de Jour.

The author behind the bestselling books detailing her secret life as a prostitute decided to come out to one of her fiercest critics, Sunday Times columnist India Knight, after claiming anonymity had become "no fun". "I couldn't even go to my own book launch party", she said.

Until last week, even her agent was unaware of her name. But now Magnanti, a respected specialist in developmental neurotoxicology and cancer epidemiology in a hospital research group in Bristol, has spoken of the time six years ago she worked as a £300 an hour prostitute working through a London escort agency. Magnanti turned to the agency in the final stages of her PhD thesis when she ran out of money. She was already an experienced science blogger and began writing about her experiences in a web diary later adapted into books and a television drama starring Billie Piper.

Magnanti says she has no regrets about the 14 months she spent as a prostitute. "I've felt worse about my writing than I ever have about sex for money," she said...
Yay, well done for stepping forward and not being ashamed of anything! Check The Times as well.
