Just...wow
Many thanks to both model and photographer for cheering up my day!
13 Jul 2008 @ 04:26 by Barak : Hmm.
Where'd they find a leaf large enough for that purpose?
13 Jul 2008 @ 17:37 by The_Gunny : Hups
Love the total pic but I am confused about the title - Hups?
Anybody?
14 Jul 2008 @ 04:21 by stanley : Hops?
I was thinking it is supposed to be Hops. You know, the plant where you use the flowers to make beer with. But that doesn't look like hops leaves.
"hups" can also mean the same as "oops" in certain languages, like Finnish, so maybe it is that.

The expression is absolutely PRICELESS. This is an amazing photo. :)

What a refreshing change from the extremely thin versions I usually see here.

... while i do enjoy pictures of curvy women, her weight is no longer a healthy one.
19 Sep 2008 @ 02:07 by ich : O.o
she weighs at least 100 kilograms. she'd have to be nearly 200 cm tall for this to qualify as a healthy weight.
24 Sep 2008 @ 06:23 by DeDe : Why the criticism?
Why would anyone criticize the model's body and weight? This is supposed to be art, if you're focused on your body - you're not seeing the art. Perhaps another website would be better suited for you - youporn maybe?
27 Sep 2008 @ 13:28 by ich : art?!?
this isn't art. does this image have any message or story to tell us? does it provoke us emotionally or intellectually? is the photographer trying to communicate an idea or emotion? no. i am really not seeing the art and it's not the model's fault.
everyone agrees that there is a lower limit to healthy weight... but when the upper limit is in question, women like this model who is obviously obese are cheered on and held as a standard for a beautiful and healthy woman. it's hypocritical, especially as i increasingly see people online and in real life criticising women with a normal, fit, healthy body as anorectic and cheering on the obese.
none of these comments here have anything to say about art but most have something laudatory to say about the model's body.

i know this is probably wrong- but it has a certain adam/eve art element to me. pure innocence and beauty, like she doesn't know the way things might are supposed to be. whether about sex, nudeness, or weight- she's just innocent, herself. it's a gorgeous picture. beautiful model.

There's more happiness for the obese online because it's easier than being happy with shit we get in real life. There is -no- healthy weight range. Every weight is healthy for the person that has it, and even if that person isn't, it's -none- of your business what they do with their lives.
Also, this may sound weird as hell, but the tiny tiny nipples are oddly adorable. Like buttons.
